Tre Cime di Lavaredo / Drei Zinnen

A long yet flat hike took us Dreizinnenhütte this summer to spend one night in the Rifugio and see the breathtaking landscape of Tre Cime Mountains of Alps. Nearest place that you can drive is Rifugio Auronzo. To get there you need to take a special toll road that is only open from June to September and beware that the road is extremely expensive! After you park your car to Rifugio Auronzo, a 1,5 hour hike awaits you to the place. The view is so beautiful once you are up there, time flies when you are wandering around. Even though the electricity limited in Rifugio their food was absolutely amazing.

Fields of Valensole

This year, I had the privilege to go to the lavender heaven, Plateau de Valensole in Provence. I was a bit late, though. Harvesting was already started when we have arrived and some of my favourite locations for shooting have already been harvested. I found this location in a sunrise time just before the villagers started harvesting the lavender. Same sunrise, I had the opportunity to shoot this incredible landscape and witness (and smell) the whole process. To smell the lavenders being cut was an absolutely thrilling experience.

Sunrise at Val d’Orcia

An iconic view of Val d’Orcia with its well known Agriturismo (Farmhose stay). One of the most picturesque locations of all Europe, Val d’Orcia offers unlimited opportunities for photographers like me with its dynamicly changing landscape. Just 2 minutes after I took this picture, this farm was all covered with morning fog and there was a complete different view there..
It is hard not to fall in love with that place! If you are lucky to go there, don’t forget to drop by one of the world famous Sangiovese vineyards in the Val D’Orcia to taste their excellent dry red wine.

Bordeaux Palais de la Bourse

Place de la Bourse is part of the Port of the Moon, Bordeaux, which has been listed by UNESCO as World Heritage since 2007. The royal square is a fine example of the outstanding urban ensemble that was built in the 18th century, during the reign of King Louis XV. The spectacular setting of Place de la Bourse on the edge of the Garonne River shows a monumental succession of identical buildings that form a continuous and balanced building curtain.
